How does it work?

Pick a throwaway address, say: rickjames@zoxmail.com. Give that address out whenever you need to. Check rickjames from the homepage of zoxmail.com.

Get it?

What the hell gave you this idea?

As far as we can remember... at least a few handles of Jack, Morgan, and a carton of Winstons.

Why do I want an email address that everyone can check?

Glad you asked! Here's an example of what I use it for. You can use Zoxmail to sign up for things you don't want to use your real address to sign-up for. So next time your faced with a sign-up page that uses e-mail confirmation, give 'em a random Zoxmail address, then come back here and check it! It's also great for e-mailing your "other" girlfriend/boyfriend.

So ZoxMail basically is a loophole around email confirmation?

Well I'm sure there is plenty of other stuff you can use it for but... umm.. ya. it is.
